Welcome to The Trials of Luke.  The blog was conceived by my son, Luke Bubenzer, with the intention of bringing awareness to the large number of members of the legal profession who fight a daily battle with depression, anxiety, addiction and other mental illnesses.  Many have survived this struggle, but many have lost their lives as a result of suicide, drug overdose and other reckless behavior, including my son.

If we are able to help even one person or one family in addressing these issues and prevent them from experiencing that pain that my family endures then it will be worthwhile.

This will be a learning experience for both you and I and my sincere hope is that we all come out better for it.
